Ask any beauty editor for their best foundation recommendations and I guarantee you, IT Cosmetics CC Cream will feature in their top three. Having launched onto QVC back in 2016, the lightweight face base quickly amassed a cult following thanks to its glowy finish and natural-looking, smooth coverage.
In fact, despite having tested hundreds of foundations, BB and CC creams over the years – IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream is the only one that has remained a constant repurchase in my beauty bag for the past 5 years.
So, you’ll understand then the hype around IT Cosmetics brand new launch – IT Cosmetics CC+ and Nude Glow Lightweight Foundation and Glow Serum with SPF40. Okay, it’s got an unnecessary mouthful of a name but let’s ignore that for a minute and get down to business.
IT Cosmetics review:
How is the new IT Cosmetics Nude Glow CC+ Cream different to the original?
The IT Cosmetics Nude Glow CC+ Cream has been launched as a lighter alternative to the traditional CC+ cream. While I’d argue that the original formula isn’t heavy in the first place – it’s coverage is seriously impressive, and while many love its flawless finish, Nude Glow CC+ offers an even lighter alternative – perfect for the summer months or no make-up make-up days.
Who is the IT Cosmetics Nude Glow CC+ Cream for?
So, what’s it comparable to? If you’re a fan of the likes of NARS Sheer Glow and Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, I’d say you’d love the original IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream formula. But if you like Glossier Skin Tint or Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint – Nude Glow might be right up your street.
IT Cosmetics Nude Glow CC+ Cream has a similar creamy consistency to the original formula, but blends out to a sheerer finish. It’s also packed with 90% skincare ingredients – like hero hydrator hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and green tea – meaning your skin will actually benefit while you wear it. The finish is ultra glowy and really does look like your skin… only better.
It’s available in 22 shades which, thanks to the light formula, are flexible. I tried both the Light and Medium shades and found them both very wearable because of the way that the formula sheers out on the skin.
If you’re after a lightweight, long-lasting skin base that’s packed with skincare ingredients – the new IT Cosmetics might be just what you’re looking for.
